Itinerary
Day 1: Yerevan - Azhdaak Mountain - Vanki Lake
Stop At: Azhdaak Mountain, Geghard Armenia
Gift yourself with adventurous hiking experience in Armenia!
In the morning your guide will be waiting for you at the lobby of your hotel in order to start the adventurous camping tour. We will head to the Western part of Gegharkunik Region the highest point of The Geghama Range is situated. First, the truck will take us to the slopes of the mount from where we will start the hiking tour. Be aware that this truck tour is for extreme lovers who will simply fall in love with the magnificent views while riding through the mountains. We will disclose the crater Lake Akna, located on the foot of the extinct volcano Azhdahak. As we climb up the slopes, we will enjoy fragrant flowers and the beauty of virgin landscapes. Afterward, we will reach the summit of the mount and unveil the views of the biblical Mount Ararat, the valley of Kotayk, Lake Sevan and the whole Geghama mountain range.

Stop At: Geghama Petroglyphs, Armenia
Later, we will descend to Vanki Lake and set up the tents for overnight. Along the way, we will explore the petroglyphs and dragon stones (vishapakar) near the Lake which date back from 2 BC to 1 BC. In the evening, delicious meals, friendly atmosphere, and warm campfire will fill our evening with joy.

Day 2: Vanki Lake - Gegard Monastery - Garni Temple - Yerevan
Stop At: Gegard Monastery, Gorge of the River Gokht, Goght Armenia
In the morning fresh alpine air will wake us up and we will descend the Mount for driving to the next direction, The UNESCO heritage site Geghard Monastic complex.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery Road H3, Garni Armenia
Later, we will depart to the Pagan Temple of Garni, another ancient marvel surrounded by divine backgrounds. In the evening the comfortable vehicle will transfer us back to the capital city.
