6-Day Fish Festival in Armenia

As one of the most ancient countries, Armenia holds a number of traditions that have become a rich part of the culture keeping the annual traditions. Every year in Armenia there are different festivals, one of them is The 'Fish Festival,' which will take part 11.04.2016.

Day 1: (D)

Arrive in Yerevan and be taken to a hotel (3*hotel). Enjoy a city tour, welcome dinner and evening walk in Central Yerevan.

Day 2: (B/L/D)

Have breakfast in the hotel before being taken to Ararat Brandy(Konyak) factory. After the tour and discussion you will have a possibility to buy brandy right in the factory shop. After lunch you will visit Tsitsernakaberd (the genocide museum) and back to hotel (dinner in the hotel).

Day 3: (B/L/D)

After having breakfast in the hotel you will be taken to Snt Hripsime and Gayane churches of 7th century then Ëchmiatsin mother cathedral which is the most ancient Christian cathedral in the world. Lunch in Echmiatsin and back to hotel.

Day 4: (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel then visit city Abovyan - where you will participate in the 'Fish festival,' afterwards you will visit the new Church In Abovyan city and move to Tsaghkadzor (valley of flowers) .Overnight will be in Tsaghkadzor.

Day 5: (B/L/D)

Have breakfast in the hotel, then you will be driven to lake Sevan, and after to Dilijan. Visit Goshavank and Haghartsin monastery complexes of 13th century and enjoying the fantastic view of green forests we will return to Yerevan. On the way back you will be taken to Master levon's underground labeerint museum .

Day 6: (B/L/D)

Have a day trip to Garni pagan temple (the only pagan temple that has remained in Yerevan's 1st century A.D.) and Geghardavank Monastery complex of 13th century. Return to Yerevan.

Day 7: (B)

The program is over and you will be transferred to the airport.
