Matenadaran was built in 1920 and is one of the largest manuscripts storage sites in the world (more than 17 thousand copies). Located at the end of the central street of Yerevan M. Mashtots. Monument of Mesrop Mashtots (the creator of the Armenian alphabet) and other great Armenian historians are erected in front of the site. There is also a museum inside.

St. Gregory Church was built in 2001 in honor of the 1700th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity in Armenia. It is the largest cathedral in Yerevan and the second in the South Caucasus. Located in front of the shopping center Russia.

Stop At: Erebuni Town-Fortress, Yerevan Armenia

The great fortress of Erebuni was built by the Urartian king Argishti the First in 782 BC and became the first architectural monument from which began the construction of Yerevan. Located on the end of Yerevan. There is also a museum. According to the magazine Forbes enters the nine most ancient fortresses of the world.
