Day 1: Discover Yerevan

Stop At: Yerevan City Tour
Discover the secrets of Yerevan and from the 2800 year old foundations to the modern day capital.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Yerevan Brandy Factory, Yerevan
Continue with a tour of the legendary Ararat brandy factory, where you’ll taste British Prime Minister Winston Churchill’s favourite drink and discover the secrets to its production
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Meals included:

• Dinner: Finish the evening with an all inclusive meal at a top 5 Yerevan restaurant.

Day 2: Discover the Ancient Armenian Kingdom from mid-air

Stop At: Garni Temple, Garni, Kotayk Province
Get ready for an extra special day! We’ll take a trip to Garni village where your personal hot air balloon will be waiting for you.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Skyball
Your hot air balloon awaits! Take in the breathtaking views of Garni temple as you sip a glass of champagne and enjoy a light snack. When we return, we’ll take a look at the temple up close and discover it’s hidden secrets.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: The Monastery of Geghard, Geghard, Kotayk Province
Continue on to Geghard, an ancient monastery and UNESCO world heritage site
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: geghard
Finish up with a visit to a local village and learn how to bake Armenian Gata Bread.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 3: Discover Sevan and Dilijan

Stop At: Lake Sevan, Lake Sevan, Gegharkunik Province
Visit Europe’s highest lake an , and visit the Sevan peninsular and church, the area that was one an island completely surrounded by water.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Haghartsin Monastery, Dilijan, Tavush Province
Then we’ll continue on to Dilijan and visit the ancient ruins of Haghartsin.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lake Parz, Dilijan, Tavush Province
Take a trip to Dilijan’s Clearwater lake and finish with a night time tour of the town.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Dilijan Amphitheater, Dilijan, Tavush Province
Finish with a night time tour of the town.
Duration: 2 hours

• Lunch: Stop for a lakeside lunch cooked by your personal chef.

Day 4: Discover crafts and culture

Stop At: Megerian Carpet Museum, Yerevan
We’ll return to Yerevan in the morning for a chance to freshen up at your hotel. Then we’ll head to the Megerian carpet factory and learn the ancient art of carpet weaving.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Malkhas Jazz Club
We’ll round off the day with a traditional Armenian music concert or a night of musical entertainment at Yerevan’s most famous jazz bar!
Duration: 3 hours

Meals included:

• Lunch: Enjoy lunch at the carpet museum, and take a quick class in making traditional Armenian dolma!
• Dinner: Enjoy a meal whilst watching jazz.

Day 5: Discover biblical Armenia off the beaten path

Stop At: Khor Virap, Lusarat, Ararat Province
Feeling adventurous? We’ll depart in a comfortable 4 x 4 to discover some lesser known ancient sights of the world’s first Christian country
First, we’ll stop at the Khor Virap monastery close to the Armenia-Turkey border. Take in the view of biblical Mount Ararat and visit the monastery
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Yeghegnadzor Municipality
We’ll continue our journey to the untouched Yeghegis village and discover the secrets of this spectacular medieval fortress nestled in a beautiful ravine.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Noravank Monastery, Areni, Vayots Dzor Province
Then we’ll continue our journey to Noravank monastery where we’ll discover how traditional Armenian weddings take place (and even see one if we can!)
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Goris Rock Forest, Goris, Syunik Province
We’ll head south to the town of Goris to have a meal and spend the evening in a beautifully restored traditional hotel
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

• Lunch: On our way to Noravank
• Dinner: At the guesthouse in Goris

Day 6: Discover Tatev and the devil's bridge

Stop At: Khndzoresk Swinging Bridge, Yerevan
After breakfast we’ll leave Goris and visit Devil’s bridge, one of the world’s largest pedestrian bridges, explore the caves of Khndzoresk, an ancient cave city that was inhabited until 1964.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Pass By: Old Khndzoresk, Syunik Province
Discover the cave dwellings

Stop At: Wings of Tatev, Halidzor, Syunik Province
We’ll finish up at the world’s longest cable car which will take us on to Tatev, a majestic monastery perched in the Armenian highlands.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Tatev Monastery, Tatev, Syunik Province
This beautiful monastery awaits us as we finish our cable car journey accross the canyon
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Hin Areni Vineyards, Areni, Vayots Dzor Province
After lunch, we’ll take a step back in time to Areni and gain exclusive access to the Areni cave complex. This complex was discovered in 2014 as the world’s oldest wine making facility, discover the preserved wine barrels, grapes and even see how the ancient cave dwellers lived.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Areni Wine Factory, Areni, Vayots Dzor Province
We’ll continue with a tour of a more modern winery, and have a traditional lunch – followed by returning to Yerevan for a free evening.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

• Lunch: At the Areni village
• Dinner: In a top Yerevan restaurant

Day 7: Say goodbye in style

Stop At: Vernissage Market, Yerevan
We’ll spend our final morning browsing the wonders of “Vernisage”- the largest craft fair in Armenia. What started as a modest art market has now become a national tradition – filled with everything from traditional carpets, weaving, through to communist memorabilia!
Duration: 2 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: At the hotel
• Dinner: Finish off the evening with a goodbye meal and transfer to the airport.
