- While staying in Armenia, you simply cannot miss the opportunity of visiting one of the country’s most renowned landmarks – the beautiful lake Sevan.The tour begins by climbing a flight of stairs to the Sevan peninsula – a pleasant morning work-out that will compensate itself with an unforgettable panoramic view of the lake from the top.. The trip will continue along the shore to reach Noratous, a village which is home to the largest collection of the Armenian Khachkars – stone stales engraved with a cross, designed to show the way to salvation. The next stop is Selim, or Vardenyats Pass. It is one of the highest mountain passes in Armenia at an elevation of 2.410 m above the sea level, located in the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. After the trip will take you to Jermuk which is widely recognized with its curable water. What concerns the “finishing touch” to this tour, you will be given a chance to taste and even purchase Armenia’s renowned Areni wine cuisine!
