Old Khndzoresk - Swinging Bridge

The trip starts at 11 am in the morning. You will be picked up from your hotel to the most attractive and beautiful place in Syuniq Province- Old Khndzoresk. There will wait of you a 160 meter long swinging bridge.The amazing thing about the bridge is that it was constructed by the residents of the village, with their own hands and no machinery was used for the construction, and even for transportation of materials (they used horses). It rises 63 meters high above the ground and weighs 14 tons. The swinging bridge is quite interesting in its own way and can acommodate about 700 people at once.

St. Hripsime church (17th century) and the tomb of Mkhitar Sparapet (Armenian national hero who won many victories over the turks in the 18th century and was killed on his way to Khndzoresk) can also be found nearby.
