The first stop of this tour will be the St. Hripsime Church that was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Built in the 7th century, this is one of the diamonds of Armenian architecture. It is one of the oldest Armenian churches and is known for its fine Armenian-style architecture of the classical period, which has influenced many other Armenian churches since.

Etchmiadzin mother Cathedral is the main religious center for all Armenians.
It is considered to be the first Christian cathedral in the world and is in the list of UNESCO Heritage Sites.

Stop At: Echmiadzin Historical & Ethnographic Museum, Miasnikian St., 110, Vagharshapat Armenia
Next to mother Cathedral is located the Echmiadzin museum where are guarded priceless gifts that were donated to Armenian church during its 1700 years of existence.
The sacred relics are kept here:
* The spear by which the body of Christ has was pierced
* The fragment of Noah's Ark
* John Baptist's patella
* A piece of the wooden cross on which Jesus was crucified
* The fragment of the crown of thorns of the Savior etc.
