Stop At: Khor Virap, Artashat, Lusarat Armenia

Visit Khor Virap, a fortress, which served as a prison for Gregory the Illuminator, Christianity preacher back in the 3rd century. Later it became a monastery, although the prison is still preserved and access is allowed for free for every visitor. Khor Virap offers one of the best views of the Biblical Mount Ararat.

Stop At: Areni-1 Cave, 3604, Armenia

Pay a visit to the famous Areni-1 Cave to see the worlds’ oldest 6000-year-old winery(!). Also note, that this is the very place where the oldest 5500-year-old leather shoe known in the world was found.

Stop At: Noravank Monastery, Areni Armenia

Explore Noravank, Armenia's first Renaissance artwork standing proudly against the red rocks of Vayots Dzor.
