Stop At: Voskevaz Winery, Voskevaz 0220 Armenia

We will drive to Voskevaz village where we will visit Voskevaz Winery. There we will have a Wine tasting (2 Classic and 1 Vintage wine), cellars tour, brief introduction to the winery’s history, winemaking technologies and particularities.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Armenia Wine, Sasunik 0223 Armenia

We will move to another wine factory in Sasunik village. During the tour in VanArdi Winery you will learn about the history of Armenian winemaking, company’s family history, how they take care of their vineyards, how they turn grapes to wine in their winery, and dive into what a professional wine tasting looks like. The tour also includes a selection of local and international cheeses, and homemade jam (seasonal).

Stop At: Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Vagarshapat, Vagharshapat, Armenia

After learning about Armenian winemaking traditions and tasting different kinds of wines we will drive to Etchmiadzin. There we will visit Machanents House. We will have lunch there and afterwards have an excursion in the territory of the House and a pottery master class. During the master class you will learn about the history of pottery and will work with clay.

Stop At: Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Vagarshapat, Vagharshapat, Armenia

Then we will visit the spiritual center of Armenia where we will see one of the oldest churches built in the IV century – Holy Etchmiadzin. For more than 17 centuries, the Holy Etchmiadzin has been and still is the center of Armenian religion, culture, sciences, theology and spirituality.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Zvartnots Temple, Vagharshapat Armenia

On our way to Yerevan we will stop at Zvartnots Cathedral. The cathedral is dated back to the 7th century. You can’t see the cathedral standing there but only the ruins of it. In 2000, Zvartnots, along with the churches of St. Hripsime, St. Gayane, St. Shoghakat and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, was included in UNESCO World Heritage Site.
