Republic Square is the central town square in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It consists of two sections: an oval roundabout and a trapezoid-shaped section which contains a pool with musical fountains. The square is surrounded by five major buildings built in pink and yellow tuff in the neoclassical style with extensive use of Armenian motifs.

Stop At: Cafesjian Center for the Arts, Yerevan
Cascade is well known by the young generation as a place to go drink coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages and get a bite to eat. There are outdoor concerts with a great view from up on the Cascade staircase. A great place full of night life.

Tsitsernakaberd, the Genocide Memorial dedicated to the memory of 1.5 million Armenians who perished in the first genocide of the 20th century, at the hands of the Turkish government.
