About this activity
City tour of the capital of Armenia - Yerevan, one of the oldest cities in the world - older than Rome for 30 years. The capital of Armenia is already 2,800 years old.

The route of our tour will start with a bus tour around the city that will cover all the main sights, the main streets and avenues of the city: Mashtots Avenue with the famous "Covered Market" and "Blue Mosque", Marshal Baghramyan Avenue with the Presidential Residence and the beautiful Parliament Building, Sayat Nova Avenue with the monument of the famous French sculptor Rodin, and much more.

Afterwards, we will have a walking tour through the small center. It will start from the Yerevan Cascade with its open-air Museum of Cafesjian Art Center, the collection of which contains works and masterpieces of world famous artists such as Fernando Botero, Arshile Gorki, Jennifer Bartlett, Lynn Chadwick, Barry Flanagan and others. Here, of course, we will climb-up to the panoramic view platform, to glance the fantastic pictures of the pink city, and if lucky, will see the majestic view of Biblical Ararat mountain. Most of our athletic travelers can take the stairs to climb up the top, for the others escalators will be of help.

Making the most fascinating photos and getting acquainted with the stories of Yerevan, we will continue our walk to the Theater Square to see the Opera and Ballet Theater and the famous Swan Lake.

Then we will reach the Northern Avenue, with its impressive new buildings, restaurants, cafes and shops. It is here that you can find the monument to the famous florist Karabala, who was the protector of young couples and was always presenting them with flowers.

The final destination of our walk is the Republic Square. This is the central square of the Armenian capital. Its architectural appearance is formed by five buildings located along the perimeter. Among them is the Museum of Armenian History and the National Gallery, the building of the Government of Armenia, with its famous clock, under which the citizens of Yerevan used to make their first dates. The Square is also famous for its singing fountains, the shows of which can be enjoyed from the middle of April to the end of October.

At the end of the tour we will visit Tsitsernakaberd - the memorial dedicated to the numerous victims of the Armenian Genocide in 1915.
