About this activity
Meet your driver in a central location in Arles before departing for Aix-en-Provence, the city of water and art, followed by Marseille which is the second largest city in France.
Walk along the Cours Mirabeau in Aix-en-Provence lined with 17th and 18th century private mansions, where large plane trees provide shade on hot summer days. The old town is packed with shops, architectural and religious sites, bustling squares and refreshing fountains. Take a stroll through one of the numerous markets taking place everyday in the center of the city.
Enjoy a panoramic tour of the city of Marseille, including a photo stop at Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica. From this hill, enjoy a breathtaking view on the Phocaean city, the Frioul islands and If Castle. You will then reach the 11th century Saint-Victor Abbey that is at the entry of the Vieux-Port (Old Port).
During the day there will be free time for lunch (own expense).
After the visit of Marseille you will drive back to Arles.
