About this activity
This tour includes the visit of Vimy Ridge during the battle of Arras in 1917 and the battlefield of the Somme of 1916 with the Newfoundland Park of Beaumont-Hamel.
The tour is starting with the visit of the battlefield the battle of Vimy Ridge during the battle of Arras in April/May 1917.
Following the visit of the Canadian Educational Centre, the Grange Tunnel (please note that the visit of the Grange Tunnel cannot be guaranteed) and the trench system just behind, the National Canadian Memorial, we will heading to the Somme battlefield of 1916 to understand the Canadian involvement during the battle of the Somme in Pozières, Courcelette and Regina trench.
The visit of the Newfoundland Park of Beaumont-Hamel with is original preserved trench system will end the tour.
