Day 1: Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park
Stop At: Babati, tanzania, Tarangire National Park 3134 Tanzania
The Park is located 118km (2 hours driving)South-West of Arusha and has a total surface area of 2850sq km. The Park has sparse vegetation strewn with baobab and acacia trees and it is the only area with greatest concentration of wildlife outside Serengeti Eco-system.
Tarangire is the only place in Tanzania that contain high population density of elephants, more than 300 elephants have been marked at the Park.
It’s the only place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as stately fringe –eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed by unparalled game viewing.
While trekking in Tarangire Park expect to undertake guided walking safari, game driving and the common animals expected to viewed are Zebra, Buffalo,Impala, Giraffe, Kori bustard heaviest flying bird, Tarangire Pythons. And you’ll explore day trips to Maasai & Brabaig villages as well as hundred of ancient rock paintings in the vicinity of Kolo on the Dodoma road.
The best time to visit it probably yearly around but dry season starts from June –September for Sheer number of animals.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
It’s an undoubtedly the best known wildlife sanctuary in the World and Africa in Particularly. The Park is located 335km from Arusha and 220km(5 hour drive) from Tarangire National Park. The Park is 14,763 sq km in size. The Park is divided into three main zones,namley; Southern zone, westrern corridor and Northern zone.
Southern/Central/Seronera Valley; Maasai called it “Serengit” meaning the land of endless plains. Southern Zone has an endless plain accumulated with savannah grassland which provide the wide area for the wildlife such as Wildebeest, Zebras to graze. In Seronera Valley there is dotted acacia vegetation which appears in a group like structure known as Kopjes which provides a good vantage for predators spot their prey, and it is filled with a lot of reptiles such as lizards.
Western Corridor contains the swampy wooded land, dense underground forest with a black cotton soil which does sparse in heavy rain. By this in this area it is blessed with a lot of Baboons, Monkeys of all kind climbing here and there. The Zone is allocated with a Grumeti and Mbalageti Rivers which drains their water to Lake Victoria hence filled with a lot of Crocodiles and varieties of birds species aroud 400 has been observed.
Northern Zone(Lobo Area) has rainforest dense woodland, mountainous vegetation. It is filled with Mara River which do contain a lot of large Crocodiles (almost 5m lures below the surface.) which block the Wildlife Migrating in their way to North of Kenya’s Reserved Maasai Mara.
