Itinerary

Day 1: ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATION PARK

Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Arusha - Serengeti National Park (335 kilometers - 5 hours) You will be picked up from Arusha hotel at 08:00 and drive to the great Serengeti National Park (14,763 square kilometers or 5,700 square miles). You will arrive at around 15:00 in Serengeti. You will do game drive en-route to Seronera Campsite. The park is a home to lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, wild dog, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. Lots of birds including the Eurasia migrants can also be found here. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.

Day 2: FULL DAY SERENGETI

Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Full-day Serengeti National Park After breakfast, you will continue with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is very large and your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to locate the herds. You will have all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and overnight stay at Serengeti Seronera Campsite.

Day 3: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater Rim You will wake up at 06:00 for early morning game drives in Serengeti. At 09:00, you will back to the campsite for breakfast then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en-route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. The entire day is spent on the crater floor viewing lion, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, black rhinoceros, and many species of small antelopes. It is one of the few places in Africa where you stand a very good chance of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant) in the course of a game drive. The local Maasai have permission to graze their cattle on the crater floor and it is not unusual to see Maasai cattle and buffalo grazing together with lion mere meters away. There are around 1,000 lions in the crater, approximately 20 black rhinos, and the spectacular Lerai Forest is one of the best places in Africa to spot leopards. During the tour, there will be an optional visit to the Olduvai Gorge at an extra fee for the museum. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite A.

Day 4: NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA

Stop At: Arusha Airport, Arusha, Tanzania
Ngorongoro Crater Floor - Arusha You will wake up early morning for breakfast then at 07:30, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the crater floor for game drives. All the Big Five including rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. You will have a break for lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring picnic sites. It will be an unforgettable experience. After lunch, you will proceed with fame viewing while ascending the crater. Drop off will be at your hotel in Arusha.
