Day 1: Depart to Serengeti National Park & A Late Afternoon Game Drive

Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Pick you up at the hotel in Arusha at 7:00 am, and depart to Serengeti National Park (a 6 - 7 hours drive) with packed lunch boxes, arriving in the late afternoon. On arrival, go for an evening game drive until sunset.
Serengeti National Park: This second largest park in the country, it is considered the famous safari destination in the world. All the ‘Big 5’ are found in this great park and other huge number of animals including wildebeests, spotted hyenas, cheetah, impala and quite number of birdlife.
In the late evening, transferred to the camp, rest and later your hot dinner and stay the overnight at Serengeti KatiKati Tented Camp (lunch & dinner included)

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive at Serengeti National Park

Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
After breakfast, go for a full day game drives across the famous Serengeti National Park with packed lunch boxes until sunset. It is in this park that more than six million hooves pound the legendary “endless plains.”
Every year, triggered by rains, more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson gazelle gather to undertake their long trek to new grazing lands. The rutting season is a frenzied three week bout of territorial conquest and mating, followed by a survival of the fittest as the 40km long column of animals plunges through crocodile infested waters on their annual exodus north. The species are replenished during the brief population explosion that produces more than 80,000 calves a day before the 1000km return pilgrimage begins. Return in the late evening and stay the night at Serengeti KatiKati Tented Camp (breakfast, lunch & dinner included)

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive at Serengeti National Park

Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
After breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and depart for another full day game drive at the enormous Serengeti to once again enjoy and experience its affluent wildlife until evening.
Back to the camp in the late evening for hot dinner and stay the overnight at Serengeti KatiKati Tented Camp (breakfast, lunch & dinner included)

Day 4: Visit the Olduvai Gorge Archaeological Site

Stop At: Olduvai Gorge Museum, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
In the morning after breakfast, an on-route game drive at central Serengeti while driving to the “Olduvai Gorge.
OLDUVAI GORGE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE: Also known as ‘The Cradle of Mankind’ - The site is significant in showing the increasing developmental and social complexities in the earliest humans (it holds the earliest evidence of the existence of human ancestors). It is one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world; it has proven invaluable in furthering understanding of early human evolution. The British/Kenyan paleoanthropologist-archeologist team Mary and Louis Leakey established and developed the excavation and research programs at Olduvai Gorge which achieved great advances of human knowledge and world-renowned status.
Later after the experience at Olduvai Gorge, depart to Ngorongoro Crater arriving in the evening, hot dinner when you are ready and stay the overnight at the crater rim at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge (breakfast, lunch & dinner included)

Day 5: Descend to Ngorongoro Crater for a Game Drive

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and depart to Ngorongoro Crater (The 8th World Wonder) in just three hours drive. On arrival, descend to this unique and enormous crater for a game drive.
Ngorongoro Crater: It is a deep, volcanic crater, un-flooded and unbroken caldera in the world, it’s about 200 kms across, 600 kms deep and 300 sq. kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder.
As a UNESCO World Heritage Site the crater offers a unique biosphere which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. There are very few places in the world where you can find such a large population of wildlife throughout the year. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, you have a good chance of spotting ‘The Big 5’: Lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. For the latter two you need a bit of luck as they tend to shy away. Approximately 30,000 animals live on the crater floor!
In the late afternoon, you’ll drive to the nearest town of Karatu, rest and later have your hot dinner and stay the overnight at Octagon Lodge (breakfast, lunch & dinner included)

Day 6: Depart to Tarangire National Park for a Full Day Game Drive

Stop At: Babati, tanzania, Tarangire National Park 3134 Tanzania
After breakfast, drive for 2 - 3 hours to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch boxes. On arrival, go for a full day game drive across the enormous beautiful Tarangire until early evening.
Tarangire National Park: It is the sixth largest park in the country, occupies an area of 2,600 sq. kms, The animals come by thousands from as far north as the shores of Lake Natron to the bank of this river, significantly swelling the resident population with wildebeest, zebra, eland, elephant, hartebeest, buffalo, and fringe-eared oryx. During the dry season, the Tarangire pools are full of thirsty migrants, and the elephants begin to dig for underground streams in the dry riverbed. Tarangire National Park is said to have the highest recorded number of breeding bird species for any habitat in the world. There are over 500 bird species that have been identified here.
Back at in the evening, rest and later get your hot dinner, and stay the overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge (breakfast, lunch & dinner included)

Day 7: Depart to Lake Manyara National Park for a Full Day Game Drive

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park Tanzania
After breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and depart to Lake Manyara National Park (less than 2 hours drive). On arrival, go for a full day game drive until early evening.
Lake Manyara National Park: Well known for its rare tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake, flocks of pelicans and flamingos plus breathtaking scenery. The park is located in both Arusha and Manyara regions; this is a small but very beautiful park offering breathtaking views, excellent game viewing and an incredible array of bird-life. Here you have a chance to spot zebra, baboon, warthog, giraffe, impala, elephant, waterbuck, hippo and wildebeest.
In the early evening, you’ll drive back to the nearest town of Karatu, rest and later have your hot dinner and stay the overnight at Octagon Lodge (breakfast, lunch & dinner included)

Day 8: Maasai Boma Tour & Depart to Arusha

Stop At: Arusha Village Experience, Arusha Tanzania
After breakfast at the lodge, go for a ‘Maasai Boma Visit’ - an authentic glimpse into the distinctive Maasai culture. Preservation of their proud traditions has set the Maasai apart from other indigenous groups in Tanzania, and embodies a side of Africa with which few outsiders can contact. Maasai expeditions will offer you as a visitor, a memorable opportunity to interactively experience the Maasai way of life including their dress code, occupation, dancing and singing and visit their bomas (traditional family dwelling).
Later, after the visit - depart back to Arusha (a 2 - 3 hours drive) with your packed lunch boxes, arriving in the afternoon, and transfer you to a hotel/airport to catch your flight back home (breakfast & lunch included)
