About this activity
Day 1:Moshi – Arusha National Park

Pick up from your hotel in Moshi at 8am and drive to the National Park. Start your experience on the ground with a walking safari, accompanied by your guide and rangers. Whilst passing groups of grazing buffalo you will make your way to the Tululusia Waterfalls. Walking safari lasts for approximately 2-3 hours. Following lunch you will explore the rest of the park, including the Ngurdoto crater, before heading to your campsite on the outskirts of Arusha.

Day 2:Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast set off early to drive to Tarangire National Park (with a lunchbox on the way). You will reach there late morning and have a game drive with the opportunity to see large groups of elephants that make this national park famous. Early evening you will head to your public campsite within Tarangire National Park where your safari chef will prepare dinner before you head into your tents for a night amongst the wilderness.

Day 3: Tarangire– Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park before you head to the sweeping plains of Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive (lunchbox provided). Following your game drive you will go to set up camp within the National Park. Your safari chef will cook you a scrumptious dinner before you turn yourselves in for a night amongst the wilderness.

Day 4:Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the campsite before piling into the car for a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. You will have a picnic lunchbox provided and, following the day of wildlife watching, return to camp for a delicious meal cooked up by your chef.

Day 5:Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Rise early to catch the wildlife whilst they are still active before the day gets too hot and they return to rest. Explore the hippo pools and find crocodiles basking as the sun comes up. Return to camp for brunch, pack up and then drive to Ngorongoro whilst viewing more wildlife on the way. You will set up camp at Simba camp- on the edge of the crater rim. No doubt after a busy day you will turn yourselves in early!

Day 6:Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Moshi

Wake up to a delicious breakfast at the campsite and then descend into the infamous Ngorongoro crater to view some of Tanzania’s more rarely seen wildlife including the black rhino. You will have a morning game drive on the open grassy plains of the crater, stopping for a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok hippo pools before returning to Moshi (arrive 5:30 - 6pm).
**Please note safaris can start/end in Moshi or Arusha.

Our cars are equipped with a radio system for guide communication with base and park rangers. We carry at least one pair of binoculars in each vehicle.
  • A great area of confusion and unease for many tourists, tipping is a generally expected and highly appreciated (although not compulsory) part of your safari tour. It is a great way of saying ‘thank you’ to those that have helped you to have a wonderful experience here. Tips should be given at the end of your safari when saying your goodbyes. If you are part of a group safari it is best to try to discuss with everyone beforehand how you wish to do the tipping. To help you feel at ease we have provided a general guide below but please remember that tipping is a way of you showing your gratitude for your safari staff and is up to you! The guidelines given below are for a group amount, not individually.
  • Guide: 15-20 USD/ day

  • Waterproof jacket/windbreaker
