Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive | Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)

Stop At: Arusha Village Experience, Arusha Tanzania
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. Afterwards, you will be taken to your accommodation at Mount Meru Hotel.

Day 2: Travel towards to Ngorongoro

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
Travel towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area home of the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations and one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in its natural habitat. There are various options to spend the remainder of the day (at additional cost): • Visit of a Masai Village (extra cost of 40 USD per vehicle) • Ranger guided Nature Walk along the Crater Rim (30 USD per person)

Day 3: Exploring the Ndutu Plain

Stop At: Ndutu Lake, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
The Ndutu plains is a seasonal location tucked between the NCAA and Serengeti which allows off-road game drives, perfect for migration viewing. The Great Migration is a perpetual movement of over 1.5 million of wildebeest, zebra, antelope and other migratory wildlife in search of fresh food and water. From January to February, Ndutu is expected have a dense concentration of migratory herds from as it hosts the highly anticipated calving season. With the gathering of the Great Migration along with thousands of baby calves born every day, predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena will also follow in a desperate fight for survival. Be alert for the striped hyena, a rare carnivore which prefers the Ndutu area and often spotted at dusk or dawn.

Day 4: Exploring Ndutu Area

Stop At: Ndutu Lake, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania

Day 5: Begin your journey in the famous Serengeti endless plain

Stop At: Seronera, Serengeti National Park 0000 Tanzania
Travel to Serengeti National Park, and begin your journey in the famous Serengeti endless plains, home of one of the largest wildlife population in the world. Your adventure around the Serengeti kopjes may reveal all sorts of wildlife ranging from insects, snakes, lizards to large predators such as lion, leopards and cheetahs. Kopjes provide excellent vantage points to survey the surrounding area for food source or predators. Keep an eye out for Hyrax, small herbivore mammal exclusive to the kopjes and surprisingly, the closest relative to the elephant. Various smaller carnivore residents in Serengeti include the common genet, the African civet, the honey badger and at least five mongoose species.

Day 6: (Option) Hot Air Balloon Safari or full day game drive .

Stop At: Seronera, Serengeti National Park 0000 Tanzania
Serengeti Balloon Safari is probably the most beautiful balloon flight in the world and the ultimate Safari Experience which makes you enjoy the most beautiful migration of wildebeests through the endless plain of Serengeti.

5:00 am, Serengeti Balloon Safaris will collect you from your central Serengeti lodge or camp, and transfer you by Land rover to our launch site near Masai Kopjes. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon.At dawn we take off, rising as the sun rises and float in whichever direction the winds of the morning take us.

Day 7: Full day exploring Serengeti plain

Stop At: Serengeti Hippo Pool, Mageso Chember, Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Game drive visiting differents ecological sites at central Serengeti and explore the many kopjes, massive granite outcropping that dot the plains and home to a variety of species of animals and a favourite hangout for lions and Leopards. Spend the day game driving the central Serengeti and the seronera valley.

Day 8: Bush flight to Arusha | Kilimanjaro Airport

Stop At: Arusha Village Experience, Arusha Tanzania
Early breakfast at the camp and then leave the camp for Seronera Airstrip and fly back to Arusha after arrival stop at cultural heritage for lunch and an optional shopping, and then drive to African view lodge for a Day room. An early dinner at Gran Melia Lodge before driving to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.
