Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Arusha town.

Stop At: Arusha Village Experience, Arusha Tanzania
You will go for a tour around Arusha town and experience the local culture, museums and traditions of the local community.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 2: Travel to Tarangire national park

Stop At: Babati, tanzania, Tarangire National Park 3134 Tanzania
After an early check out in Arusha, you will travel 139 kilometers, 3 hours drive to Tarangire national park, where the expected time of arrival is 10:30am. Tarangire is located in the Tarangire - Manyara ecosystem which is adjacent the great Rift valley that extends from Mozambique to Jordan. The Tarangire is known to have the largest population density of elephants and baobab trees, also known as the upside-down tree. You will go on a 3 hour game drive around Tarangire entrance gate to Tarangire river. You will enjoy a parked lunch at the Matete picnic site, while overlooking the Tarangire river, which is an attraction for wildlife, especially during the dry season. You will exit the park at around 15:00 hours and transfer to Karatu, which is located 125 kilometers, 2 hours drive on a tarred road, where you will sleep over for one night at a wildlife lodge. Karatu is a town located adjacent to Ngorongoro Conservation area authority and is occasionally known to encounter wildlife sightings.

Day 3: Serengeti National park

Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
After checking out at Karatu, you will travel 175 kilometers, 3 hours drive to Serengeti national park on an offroad drive. Expected time of arrival at Naabi entrance gate, is 13:00 hours where you will transfer to your lodge at Seronera in central Serengeti. Serengeti is at the top of the food chain when it comes to wildlife encounters and large teaming populations of wildlife, with more than 15,000 square kilometers of shear wild space. Enjoy lunch at the center of Serengeti and after a short rest, you will go for a late afternoon game drive around Seronera, where there is a rich stream of wildlife sightings. You will travel back to the lodge from 17:00 hours, since park authorities prohibit game drives beyond 18:00 hours unless it's a night game drive.

Day 4: Tour of Serengeti National park

Stop At: Serengeti National Park Tanzania
After an early breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive around Seronera and Ndutu. Encounter millions of wilderbeest as they migrate to Masaimara. Note: This is a Seasonal event: The best time of seeing the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti is during June and July and the time to see the wildebeest calving is during late January to February. You will traverse the sea of grass on a 4X4 vehicle for at least 4 hours until your lunch break at a picnic site or back to the lodge at mid-day. After a short rest, you will embark on a late afternoon game drive around Moru kopjes, until 17:00 hours, where you will go back to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 5: Travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After an early check out at Serengeti, you will travel 64 kilometers, about an hour and 30 minutes on gravel road, to Ngorongoro conservation area authority. You will check in to a lodge located on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater where you will enjoy lunch while overlooking the scenic crater. After a short rest, you will visit a cultural Maasai boma (Traditional house) located on the Ngorongoro highlands. The Maasai are the only ethnic society that are allowed by law to coexist with wildlife in the Ngorongoro conservation area and they are among the few tribes remaining in Africa that still practice a native indigenous and primitive life style. You transfer to the lodge at around 17:00, for dinner and rest until an early game drive the next day.

Day 6: Descend down the Ngorongoro Crater

Stop At: Ngorongoro Crater, Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Conservation Area Tanzania
After an early breakfast, you will descend to the 600 meters deep, 28 kilometers wide crater, which is filled with hundreds of species of birds, big game and plants. The Ngorongoro is the only intact caldera that is known to harbour a large diversity of wildlife that permanently live inside the crater. Truly a natural wonder, this gem will leave you in awe of nature's beauty and majesty. You will gave a 4 hour game drive and take lunch at Ngoitoktok picnic site inside the crater. After continuing with a game drive for 2- 3 hours, you will go back to the lodge for rest, a cultural entertainment and dinner.

Day 7: Travel to Lake Manyara National Park

Stop At: Lake Manyara National Park Tanzania
After checking out at Ngorongoro, you will travel 2.5 hours to Lake Manyara national park, where you will explore the ground water forest from Tanzania's first treetop board walk, which is 18 meters high. This board walk can give you a Birdseye view of the forest flow and a magnificent vantage point for bird watchers. You will have lunch at Msasa picnic site where you will behold the wonderful rift valley wall. Lake Manyara national park is a hotspot for migratory birds from all over the world. You will encounter hippos, wildebeests, zebras and probably the famous tree climbing lions of Manyara, plus many more big game. By 15 hours, you will travel 114 kilometers on a 2 hour drive across a tarred road back to Arusha town. Which will mark the end of our tour.
