Pickup at the hotel is at 8 am and we will travel to the city of 'cuidad del este'. Arriving at cuidad del este at 3pm. Visiting the mercado till 7pm where the group can also eat dinner and the multitude of different dining areas and choose from many different cuisines. Please note that the mercado is an enormous place. Due to the extremely low prices large numbers of people from many different countries go to shop there, so please stay close to the group and be alert because it is easy to get lost and the chance of finding you again would be small. The mercado is known for extremely low priced electronics but please be aware that there may not be a warranty. Afterwards it is off to the hotel or hostel depending on the tourists choices. The next day after breakfast it is off to the national park and iguazu falls. The group returns to asuncion by 10pm or later depending on when the group wants to leave cuidad del este.

The trip starts from asuncion by car. The chauffer can speak english and spanish and is familiar with the city of asuncion, cuidad del este, the mercado and iguazu falls. Please listen to any of his warnings and advice since he knows best. The cost of gasoline, rental car, and the chauffer is $300 for one person, $200 per person for 2 people, $150 per person for 3 people or more on this trip and is payable at pickup from the hotel. The chauffer will not be letting anyone into the car until payment is made. Please note the meals and hotel stay are not included in the trip and therefore the traveler must budget for these items. Since the chauffer is aware of different hotels and hostels, accomodations can be found for all budgets. The entry into the park (which includes the waterfall) is also paid by the tourist and varies depending on the passport held by the tourist. Generally Europeans, canadians, australians and americans pay the higher rate and south americans are charged a lower rate by the park.
