About this activity
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your pilot, within the Hill Aircraft FBO, at the Fulton County Airport. The Six Flags & Sweetwater Creek Tour departs the Fulton County Airport, in a Robinson R44 Helicopter, heading westbound. With an altitude of at least 500 feet above the ground, you will experience two of Georgia‘s prime attractions, from an aerial point of view. Six Flags Over Georgia (est. 1967) is a 290-acre theme park located west of Atlanta, in Cobb County, United States. It hosts Warner Bros. Studios’ cast of characters, including: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Looney Tunes, along with Batman, Superman, and the Justice League.
Afterwards, you will cruise through and above Sweetwater Creek State Park. This 2,549 acre Georgia state park, located in the New Manchester area of east Douglas County, is about 15 miles from downtown Atlanta. The park is named after Sweetwater Creek, which runs through the park and provides rich biodiversity, geology, and history. The park features wooded walking and hiking trails, the George Sparks Reservoir, as well as the ruins of the New Manchester Manufacturing company. The duration of the tour is approximately 10 minutes returns to the original point of departure.
