Full Day Black History Day Trip to Alabama Sites
This is a full day 12-hour tour that will take you back in time through the Civil Rights Movement in the South. We will travel from downtown Atlanta to Tuskegee and Montgomery Alabama. We will Visit the Tuskegee Institute and Library, George Washington Carver Museum, the incredible Civil Rights Memorial which will tells the story of the 1961 Freedom Rides that ended racial segregation in public transportation. You will also Visit the Dexter King Church and Parsonage Home which was Martin Luther King's residence from September 1954 to February 1960.
The travel time to Tuskegee from Atlanta is 2 hours on a motor coach bus and will depart at 8:00 AM from 655 Spring St. Atlanta GA and will return at 8:00 PM. Lunch included in the cost,participants will pay for there own dinner.
