Stop At: Auckland Domain, Park Road, Auckland Central, Auckland New Zealand

Explore the history and sights when you’re in port in Auckland, and experience daily life in this laid-back harbor city.

Traveling by air-conditioned mini-coach, led by a local guide, this small-group Auckland tour begins with a trip along Queen Street in the central business district. Passing Auckland University and the Domain inner-city park, the tour continues through the attractive suburb of Ponsonby, with its grand Victorian buildings.

Cross the Harbour Bridge to Auckland’s North Shore, then stretch your legs on Narrow Neck Beach in the town of Devonport, with fabulous views of Rangitoto Island’s extinct volcanic cone. There’s time for a coffee (own expense) before the tour continues to the summit of Mt Victoria, for panoramic views over Auckland.

Then travel back over the Harbour Bridge to view Westhaven Marina, one of the largest marinas in the Southern Hemisphere with views through the yacht masts to the city skyline. The Auckland City tour is an easy morning tour introduction to the diverse city of Auckland.

Our Auckland small group tour was amazing. This tour gave you a fabulous overview of the city while in port. Our tour guide really made the trip he was extremely knowledgeable and made sure to answer all questions. We made alot of stops for pictures and time to get out of the van and stretch your legs. We would highly recommend this tour.

For the money I paid I expected a little bit more than a bus ride, but the stop at Mt Victoria summit was very good. The tour was 74.95 for 3 hours that is too much for so little.
