Stop At: Te Puia, Hemo Road, Rotorua New Zealand

After this tour you will travel to Rotorua (approximately 55 minutes) to Te Puia where you will have lunch. and time to explore Te Puia - total time in Rotorua approximately 1.5 hours. Te Puia spans 70 hectares within the historic Te Whakarewarewa Valley, on the edge of Rotorua. It is home to the Pohutu geyser, mud pools, hot springs, silica formations, the Kiwi bird and the national schools of wood carving, weaving, stone and bone carving. They have shared these treasures with manuhiri (visitors) for 170 years and proudly continue that legacy today. If you want more time in Rotorua please look at our over-night tour option

Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves tours are run by local guides and are of a set duration and you get exactly the same time as other visitors who are visiting less places in a day, but with Rotorua you only have approximately 1.5 hours in the area. If you have more time available and are particularly interested in Rotorua we reccomend you either book our overnight tour to the same 3 destinations or buy 2 tours splitting the destinations over 2 days.but putting all 3 destinations in one day is cost effective and for many people just seeing a geyser and a taste of Rotorua is more than enough
Hobbiton is a reasonably challenging walk - Please advise if you have mobility issues and if it is avaialble we will book a golf cart for you

This was an awesome tour provided by the awesome folks at FlexiTours! We got to see a huge part of the North Island, all in one day! I got bunch of bites of sandflies. I don't know where they were. I am suffering extreem itcies. I cannot tolerate at all. The places good,but I should know it in adban,e.

We are a family of 3. I think it is a great way to see all 3 places with this tour. All the tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and very entertaining. The coach are clean and comfortable. Well plan with a few stop for a break, toilet and snacks.

very good experience. Fantastic scenery. But limited time at rotorua. One more hour would be perfect as we missed the culture sites. we did not get to see the museum and the maori living. Lunch was so good.

Of the the weeks of adventures in NZ, this ranks among the top. This place is beautiful and amazing. Well worth spending a day strolling among the Hobbit huts and hovels! Super scenic! Took tons of pictures!
