Our Cultural Village Tour with Buffet Dinner was a not to be missed experience for visitors to Rarotonga. The ' Village ' tour was very interesting with lots of history of the Maori people and the way of life that was lived on the island. The dinner was very good with a wide variety of food. The show was terrific with the dancing and drumming. The show was very colourful with the history of the Maori interweaved in the show. Then we enjoyed a lovely buffet dessert. The dancers came out and mixed with the audience for some fun and a photo opportunity. After the show we were directed to our shuttle buses that brought us to Te Vara Nui Village. The best Cultural event I have been to and the food was absolutely devine! We went for the full 5 hour experience and totally loved every minute of it. Unfortunately booking through Viator wasn't a good experience as they claim I booked using USD instead of NZ currency which I know I didn't, and therefore it cost me more because of the exchange rate and despite me raising this with them they refuse to reimburse the overcharged amount. So definitely I would highly recommend this Tour but I would NEVER book through Viator again.
The cultural tour was very informative, the food was great, and the entertainment was excellent. Well worth the money!!!!
The entire experience at the village was a delight and recommended. Each of the venues was a learning experience as well as entertaining. The dinner was well done and delicious and the dinner show was beautiful and exciting to watch. We loved every bit of the of our visit to the island. Everywhere the people were welcoming, friendly and eager to share their island history, culture and way of life. We continue to share with our friends our love of the island and the adventure that is awaiting a visit to this most beautiful place on earth.
