Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Musee de la Lavande, 276 Route de Gordes Lieu Dit Musée de la Lavande, 84220 Coustellet France

Learn the role lavender plays in Provence’s economy and culture (introduction to lavender, short movie, shop). During the harvest time (mid-July - mid-August) this visit is replaced by a stop at a local lavender farm, where you will have the chance to watch over the distillation of lavender flowers and the production of essential oil.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Abbaye Notre-Dame de Senanque, D177a, 84220, Gordes France

Head onward to 12th-century Sénanque Abbey — nestled among lush forests and beautiful lavender fields, widely considered among the region’s top attractions. Visit the outdoor part of the abbey with its lavender in bloom.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Vieille Ville de Gordes, Gordes France

Enjoy free time through the streets of Gordes and admire sweeping views from its vantage point on the high hillsides of the Vaucluse mountains.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Le Sentier Des Ocres De Roussillon, 84220 Roussillon, Gordes France

Continue on to Roussillon — a colourful village famous for its ochre walls. Here, you can opt for the pretty Ochre Path (entrance fee not included - 2.50€/adult) and discover the natural beauty of Roussillon's surrounding area or for a simple stroll on the streets of the village.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Chateau St Saturnin Les Apt, 1 rue des Penitents, 84490 Saint-Saturnin-les-Apt, Apt France

Following the blooming stage of lavender, we will be happy to show you the brightest and most scenic lavender fields in the area (on the slopes of the Luberon or on the plateau of Sault).

Duration: 1 hour

Excellent tour and guide Nico did an excellent job. Took us to some back roads to view lavender without the other tourist. Awesome day, highly recommend tour.

We had a great one day tour hosted by Nico (ProVans Tours). Tour showed up in time and we had a comfortable, clean van with air conditioning for the day which was very pleasant. Nico's English was very good and his narration throughout was friendly and informative and he was happy to answer any questions. This tour was their Violet tour which was a route of 175kms, The pacing was great and we had enough time at all the scheduled stops the museum, Senanque, Gordes, Rousillion and Sault. We are a bit early for the lavender to be in full bloom but Nico managed to find us some fields which were close and made excellent photos. Gordes was lovely and the restaurant recommendations were fab, Rousillion was also lovely and the hike around the ochre path was spectacular. All in all this was a great tour which we highly recommend and can't thank Nico and Veronica enough for making this such a great trip. The restaurant recommendations and places to see in Avignon were also very helpful and added to our enjoyment of the town. Merci beaucoup!

Veronica was an excellent guide, taking us to lavender areas off the typical tourist path. She is friendly and accommodating, a pleasure to be with for 9.5 hours :-)
