The places visited were great but the guide was extremely rude. We got more information from brochures and signage than from the guide. Unfortunately, we were assigned this guide for 2 tours and were stuck with her for 2 days. She was equally rude and discourteous on the other day.
Even though it rained heavily this tour still worked out. The guide was knowledgeable and interested in his clients. His commentary as a result reflected the client's interest. Less time Orange and more in Arles would be better. The wine tasting was good. Learnt a lot about French wines. Thanks Remy for a good day!
The trip covered alot of ground, which was great. But, our group was a half hour late and I felt like we could've covered the same sites by ourselves. The group was not cohesive, that could've made a difference, but you never really know the demographic of the rest of the group until the day of. The light show at the quarry was not of interest to us and it seemed as if the rest of the group was in agreement. But, nevertheless we had a scheduled 45 minute stop there. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The personalities in the group were a lot to manage and he did the best job he could. All in all, because we had a rental car on the trip, we would most likely opt to do these trips on our own if we were to do it all over again.
Wonderful tour! Our guide, Remi, was so sweet and funny, and made the trip delightful for everyone. Our tour guide really made the trip special. His knowledge of the area was very apparent and very appreciated. Was considerate of our needs, and different desires on the trip. Very worthwhile.
This was a great tour. Melanie picked us up in Avignon at the appointed time. The van was spacious. Melanie was very conversant in English and extremely knowledgeable about all of the areas that were toured. Melanie made for a very wonderful experience and we came away from the tour with a much greater knowledge of southern France.
We appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of our tour guide and the half day trip was fun and memorable!
