Sete Cidades half-day tour

Explore Sete Cidades and stop by a number of viewpoints to admire the natural beauty of this island on a half-day tour. See the natural lakes as well as the peaceful village at the bottom of this volcano crater and the blue and green lakes, famous for the different colors that reflect off their waters.

After the pick-up from your hotel, port or the city center, visit Carvao pointview, from which you can see both the north and south sides of the island. Explore Empadadas Lake, which is located around the volcano of Sete Cidades and is considered to have unique, natural beauty and Canario Lake, a small lake surrounded by untouched vegetation.

Travel to Vista do Rei viewpoint, one of the most famous viewpoints of Sete Cidades, overlooking the crater and the south coast of the island. Visit Salto das freiras viewpoint and Santiago Lakeis, a small volcano crater lake surrounded by more untouched vegetation.

Move on to the village and stop at Sete Cidades Church for a short coffee break. This peaceful village is located at the bottom of the crater of the volcano. After your break, visit Escalvado viewpoint overlooking the fishing village of Mosteiros, famous for its summer houses, beach and natural pools made by lava formations.

Visit Ilha Sabrina or Ferraria viewpoint before being transferred back to your hotel, port or the city center.
