Itinerary

Day 1: Baku nights tour

Pass By: Heydar Aliyev International Airport
• Transfer from airport with air-conditioned car
• Check-in and free time
• Baku nights tour – We will start our tour from Highland Park and Alley of Martyrs. Highland Park is located on a hill in the western part of the city. This is the best place to see the city and the Baku Bay. The architecture of the capital is very eclectic; it is a combination of different styles and influences such as Baroque, classicism and modern architecture, both Eastern and Western.
The route covers the downtown and shows the most interesting historical and architectural sights. The tourists will visit and see the Flag Square, enjoy the look of the House of Government, the Philharmonic Theatre named after M. Magomayev, the Baku Mayor`s office and will visit the "Governor`s garden."
Then the tour will continue visiting the "Old City" that had preserved and walls and narrow cobbled streets till our days...
A number of the Soviet-time movies were shot here. Tourists will see the main attractions of the Old City, including the Palace of the Shirvan Shahs (XV cent), the symbol of the city - Maiden Tower, Karvansarays, mosques etc.
We will continue our excursion visiting Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev. Heydar Aliyev Center is a cultural center, projected as a complex structure that includes the auditorium (convention center), a museum, exhibition halls, administrative offices.

Day 2: Khinalig - Galakhudat villages hiking

Pass By: State Historical, Architectural and Ethnographic Reserve Khinalig, Khinalug, Guba-Khachmaz Region
• Setting out from hotel 8:00 AM with airconditioned car
• After reaching Khinalig village - Khinalig is a small mountain village situated in 2200+m. Altitude in Gudialchai valley surrounded by Tufandag 4191m, its age is more than 5,000 years. This is the highest and most isolated settlement in the Greater Caucasus mountain range, located on the border with Dagestan, 63 km from Quba. Its residents numbering about 2,000 still retain unique cultural traditions, speak their own language and wear their own traditional clothes we will take 15 min. break and start to hike to Galakhudat village. - Galahudat village situated 2200+ m. İn the foothills of Gizilgaya plateau `s steep rocks, a bit away from Guba – Khinalig road/ The village has saved its antiquity. It is the only village near around that its people are azerbaijani turks. (10+km)
• Lunch in the local’s house in Galakhudat village (Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required)
• Free time (Optional – Driving back to Baku)
• Dinner
• Night in locals house

Day 3: Galakhudat - Qriz villages hiking

Pass By: Qrız kənd Klubu
• Breakfast in local’s house at 9:00 AM and hiking to Griz village - Griz is located on 2000 m surrounded in one side steep deep canyon of Gudyalchay in other side steep rocky slopes of Gizilgaya. The people of the village are Griz belongs to Shahdag branch of Lezgi language group. (10+ km)
• Taking lunch in local’s house after reaching village
• Driving back to Baku
