Skiing in Azerbaijan

Gabala is the beautiful part of Azerbaijan with a rich and ancient history. Sometime in the past this city (Kabbalah) was the capital of Caucasian Albania for 600 years. There is a great number of historical and cultural monuments of different eras in this region. Beautiful nature and well-developed infrastructure attract thousands of tourists to Gabala. We will visit one of the most unique waterfalls of Azerbaijan - “7 gozel” waterfall. Also, we will have a chance to see beautiful Nohur lake. The largest open-air amusement park in Azerbaijan – Gabaland is also located in Gabala at the area of 16 hectares.
Tufandag Resort is located 4 km away from the city of Gabala - the ancient capital of Caucasian Albania. The distance from the international airport of Gabala is 20 km, and 220 km from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
Tufandag complex is well equipped and can accommodate up to 3,000 people at a time, restaurants, cafeterias, bars and recreation areas, ski school for adults and children, ski equipment rental and repair are operating on the territory of the complex.

The trails of the ski resort of Tufandag Gabala have different complexity and are designed for advanced skiers, snowboarders as well as beginners. The total length of the trails is 17 km.

• Driving to Gabaland - It’s not quite Disneyland, but Azerbaijan’s first theme park is a godsend for local families and has something for all ages. All rides are paid through a precharged cash card. It’s a Youth Entertainment center (karting, Ice rink and so on. interesting attractions)
