About this activity
Many of the winemakers use traditional cellar methods. Rich ruby reds, like Chambourcin, and Cabernet Franc are favorites of this region. Compare oak barrel and non-oak Pinot Grigio. Patapsco fruit wines are a refreshing treat during the summer. In addition to wineries you will stop by cider mills. Maryland’s cider is as unique as its wines. Boordy Vineyards, Basigani Vineyards, Fiore Vineyard & Winery, Harford Vineyard, Legends Vineyard, Royal Rabbit and Millstone Cellars are among the places you can enjoy your tasting.

- Dress code is smart casual. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. We discourage hi-heel shoes. Some wine tours will occur in the vineyard. Depending upon the conditions, the vineyards may be muddy.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not a minimum of 8 passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- All of the wineries have patio or dining facilities. You are also welcome to pack a lunch or snack. There will be time during the first visit to eat. You may purchase wine to drink with your food. The wineries will uncork to bottle (no fee).
- You are prohibited from bringing other alcoholic beverages to the winery. You are prohibited from bring alcoholic beverages that you did not purchase from the wineries on the tour.

My daughter and I booked the wine tour for a mother daughter weekend. It was much more enjoyable than we expected it to be. Jennifer was the tour guide. She was knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Larry was a great designated driver. The wineries we visited were awesome. We ordered the cheese plate and it was beautiful. Very tasty too. We can't wait to take more tours with Vino 301. Highly recommend to everyone.
