Stop At: Jame'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Highway or Jalan Jame Asr, Bandar Seri Begawan Brunei Darussalam

Named after Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzadin Waddaulah the 29th Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, was built in 1988. The mosque has been noted as an architectural masterpiece. It took its form from Turkish mosques, with its four tall minarets overlooking the grand, golden domes. Serene gardens decorate the landscape, with fountains and pools with many species of flowers and plants.

Stop At: Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, Jalan Mc Arthur, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8711 Brunei Darussalam

This magnificent mosque sits at the very heart of the capital city and the country's Islamic faith. Built in 1958 and named after the 28th Sultan Of Brunei, it is one of the most impressive mosques in South-East Asia. Set amid its own lagoon, the mosque seems to be floating, surrounded by lush greenery and floral gardens, while its glittering dome, covered in real gold, soars above the skyline. Featuring luminous stained glass windows, floors of gleaming Italian marble, walls of Shanghai granite, chandeliers from Britain and Carpets from Saudi Arabia, the mosque brings together the world's best materials in a tour de force of architectural beauty and spiritual ambience. A marble bridge across the lagoon brings you to a replica of a 16th century Royal Barge, which used to host religious ceremonies, like Quran reading competitions.

Istana Nurul Iman was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest living residence of a state head. it is the biggest palace and royal residence of the world. This massive royal dwelling is several times larger than the Palace of Versailles and the Buckingham Palace. We'll stop here for taking photo at the main entrance.

Stop At: Royal Regalia Museum, Jalan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8811 Brunei Darussalam

In true cult of personality style, the building – truthfully, more of a museum – houses exhibits to illustrate the important up bringing, education, marriage, travels, coronation and subsequent rule of the current Bruneian head of state. Inside, all belongings, including cameras must be left at the counter in order to enter and enjoy the chronology of the Sultan’s life. There are replicas of His throne, various crowns, gowns, weapons and splendid examples of tributes offered to the Sultan. Gifts of elaborate crystal, jade, ivory, and silver, to name a few.

Stop At: Brunei Museum, Jalan Kota Batu Bandar Seri Begawan Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan 1510 Brunei Darussalam

The Brunei Museum is the national museum of Brunei located at Kota Batu. The museum building has elaborate carvings and designs which are traditional Malay, akin to the designs on the Tomb of Sultan Bolkiah, ruler of the Brunei Sultanate in the 15th century. The museum has a number of galleries such as Islamic-art gallery, a natural history gallery, and a gallery to hold temporary exhibitions. The History gallery is where the displays relate to the history of Southeast Asia with relevance to Brunei from the time of the Spanish and Portuguese occupation in the 16th century.

Stop At: Mausoleum of Sultan Bolkiah, Jalan Sultan Bolkiah-Kota Batu, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8811 Brunei Darussalam

Bolkiah was the 5th Sultan of Brunei. He ascended the throne upon the abdication of his father, Sultan Sulaiman, and ruled Brunei from 1485 to 1524. His reign marked the Golden Age of Brunei and saw the Sultanate became the superpower of the Malay archipelago. Bolkiah frequently traveled abroad to gain new ideas for the development of the country, as well as seeking suggestions from his various chiefs. It is said that his name was kept by his father after the Ba'Alawi Sayyed clan Ba-Awalqhiyyah who had gained control over much of the Yemeni kingdom of Hadhramaut.

Stop At: Malay Technology Museum, Jalan Doto, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8411 Brunei Darussalam

The museum actually exhibits the old technology of the Malays especially the Bruneian Malays. featuring how things were done in ancient times, there are displays in boatmaking, fishing, metalworking and goldsmithing. The museum has 3 exhibition halls:
• Water Village Traditional House Gallery showing the architectural styles of Kampong Ayer houses in the old days.
• Water Village Traditional Technology Gallery which depicts the many industries found at Kampong Ayer.
• Inland Traditional Technology Gallery which features the technology of the inland people.

Stop At: Tamu Kianggeh, Jalan Sungai Kianggeh, Bandar Seri Begawan BS8111 Brunei Darussalam

‘Tamu Kianggeh‘ is situated in the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan and as a meeting place for Bruneian's especially the residents of Kampong Ayer and people from other districts. Vendors are allotted stalls according to the products they sell — traditional food and snacks; fruits and vegetables; fish, poultry and meat; herbs and antiques; and even pets. The market is open daily from 6am to 6pm, but some vendors may wrap up by noon if they’ve sold out of goods. The tamu is busiest on Fridays and Sundays with visitors thronging the market to shop for groceries — fresh produce is usually sold at cheaper prices than in supermarkets.

Stop At: Kampong Ayer - Venice of East, Brunei River Jalan Mc Arthur, Bandar Seri Begawan Brunei Darussalam

Kampong Ayer has more than enough uniqueness and history about it to be considered separately. Meaning “water village”, Kampong Ayer is built on stilts above the Brunei river. More than 30,000 people inhabit Kampong Ayer, the largest water settlement in Southeast Asia, and travel about by boat or the extensive network of wooden walkways, footbridges, and boardwalks. Tour starts by taking a boat ride on the local "Water Taxi" on the Brunei River, visit to one of the houses built on stilts where local cakes and tea will be served.
