Angklung is one of Indonesia's traditional and unique musical instrument which is made of bamboo tubes attached to a frame, each has its own notes.Since 2010, it has been recognized by UNESCO as Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, encouraging Indonesians to preserve the culture.Enjoy a short wayang golek (wooden rod puppet) performance, colourful traditional dances and of course the angklung show at a covered open-air amphitheatre of Saung Udjo. Audiences are given the opportunity to learn and play along as well which is the highlight of the show.Note:we recommend tour on weekdays only as Bandung is the favourite weekend getaway for Jakarta city resident so it is overcrowded during Saturdays and Sundays
