Stop At: Vermilion Lakes, Banff, Banff National Park, Alberta

Here we start our Winter adventure by capturing sunrise at Banff's most iconic winter landscape location!

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Castle Mountain Chalets

Near Castle Mountain Chalets, we have this fantastic spot to capture Castle Mountain with the might Bow River in the foreground.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Morant’s Curve

Morant's Curve is an iconic location to see the colorful Canadian Pacific Rail with glaciated peaks in the background.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Mistaya Canyon

Here we will take a short walk down to Mistaya Canyon to take pictures of this beautiful winter waterfall and Canyon.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Abraham Lake, Clearwater County, Alberta

Here we will search for the famous methane bubbles that make Lake Abraham a legend in terms of iconic landscape photography locations. Here we will stay till sunset to capture the incredible show that often happens here.

Duration: 3 hours

Pass By: Town Of Banff

After Abraham Lake, we make our way back to the Town of Banff to have you back at your hotel.

  • Because this trip takes place in Winter without constant movement please be prepared for subfreezing weather conditions. Dress for at least 20 degrees colder than the forecast weather conditions in Banff on the day of your tour.
  • Winter conditions in Banff National Park can be hazardous with lots of unstable ground and slippery ice. You will be provided with ice cleats but please wear warm winter boots with good traction.
  • You will be required to sign a waiver in order to participate.
  • Maximum is 6 people

  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
