About this activity
Join your professional guide and walk through the canyon bottom and over suspended catwalks past waterfalls frozen in mid-stream and through a short tunnel for a close up view of the Lower Falls! The grand finale is the incredible "Cathedral of Ice" at the Upper Falls. It's the perfect destination for a hot chocolate break and a chance to see ice climbers in action.

This trip is on a paved trail and catwalks through the Canyon and can become quite icy in winter. Ice cleats are highly recommended, trekking poles are not recommended.

Please wear attire appropriate for the day's weather. Temperatures in the canyon will be colder than in Banff. This includes warm hat and gloves, athletic shoes, winter boots, or hiking boots, warm winter coat. If you do not have suitably warm clothing you will not be permitted to participate. No high heeled shoes are permitted for this trip.
