The trip started with our wonderful informative guide but went downhill quickly when we started traveling on the Kananaskis road. It was so bumpy that sitting in the third row of seats was impossible to hear what the guide was saying. To say it was uncomfortable is putting it mildly! If it weren't for the great guide the trip would be zero stars.

For some reason I thought there would be more time spent outdoors instead you spend an entire day in the car simply looking for wildlife that you may not even see. For the price skip this tour.

This was a new tour for Mountain Adventures, but our guide, Michelle, was very comfortable with the region and provided accurate, detailed info on every stop and for almost every question we asked. We learned how different Kananaskis Country K-Country is from the Rockies around Banff and saw the wildlife we were seeking, including grizzly bear from the bus at less than 30 ft., deer, and plenty of various rodents. Our tour group was small only 5 of us, so we were able to linger and hike a bit more along the way. The tour included Spray Lakes, Kananaskis Lakes, the Peter Lougheed Visitor Center, and Boundary Ranch, which hosted a fantastic lunch get the beef burger! The trip is a circuit south from Canmore, then north onto C40 after the visitor's center. Be forewarned, much of the southbound road is gravel, and much of it is washboarded. You will bounce around quite a bit in the van, and it sometimes impedes hearing the guide. Eat a light breakfast and sit up front if you tend to get motion sick. Mountain Adventures provides mid-morning snacks to settle your stomach.

I was the only customer but they still conducted the tour. Extremely friendly guide. I was very pleased.
