You’ll hop back into your tuk tuk and head to Phahurat Market, in the heart of Bangkok's Little India, where all kinds of fabrics, cloths, ornaments, and accessories are sold along with stalls selling delicious Indian snacks. Moving on with this market tour in Bangkok, you’ll head to Pak Khlong Talat, or the flower market. This is the biggest flower market in Thailand and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Many different types of flowers are shipped here, and the market acts as a distribution centre, transferring flowers to other cities throughout the country

Stop At: Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), 2 Sanamchai Road. Prabarom Maharajawang, Pranakorn, Bangkok 10200 Thailand

Onwards on your tuk tuk you’ll go, towards Wat Pho, the temple that houses the biggest and most beautiful reclining Buddha image in the country and is also the birthplace of Thai massage and medicines. Your local guide will take you on a tour of the area, and fill you in on the local stories about one of the most fascinating parts of Bangkok. This temple is one of those places that should not be missed when you travel to Bangkok!

Time for another tuk tuk ride and this time your destination will be Wat Saket, a temple that lies at the foot of the Golden Mount. Your local guide will take you up the 318 steps (sorry, your tuk tuk can’t help you with that one!) to the 360-degree view of the surrounding old Rattanakosin Island, a view which makes the climb totally worth it.

Early and latter part of tour, which was more historical, context stuff more interesting than some of the walks through the Indian market particularly walk ended with a stroll around a discount clothing store. No problem with historical issue but unlike the flower/fruit and veg market that was vibrant and interesting, Indian market very much less so. Does however show little gems of Thai history and beauty in a part of 16 million strong throng of commerce and activity.
