Chinatown Bike Tour in Bangkok

After hotel pickup (if option is selected), assemble in Chinatown to get your gear and a safety briefing. Begin your half-day bike tour at a bustling street market and local temple before crossing the Chao Praya River to Thonburi. Your guide takes your small group along Bangkok’s meandering back streets during the easy, 9-mile (15-km) ride over mostly flat tarmac. There are plenty of stops along the way, making for a perfect family outing.

Cycle to Princess Mother Memorial Park and hop off your bike to explore its tranquil gardens and quaint historical museum. Dedicated by His Majesty the King to honor the childhood home of the late Princess Mother, the large park features a reconstructed house and exhibition halls that offer visitors a glimpse of her life.

See photographs and mementos on display, including small Buddha images she sculpted for the royal family, before riding to Santa Cruz Church. Established by a Portuguese community — Thailand’s first European settlers — the Catholic church is a monument to the country's religious freedom and cultural tolerance.
