Half Day Taling Chan Market & Artists House

Taling Chan Floating market is located on the canal Khlong Chak Phra, and here you can still see the old way of life of the Thai people. The sellers will paddle their boat to sell their fresh products to the visitors on the riverbanks – here you can enjoy exploring the market, seeing the local life and experience taste the local foods. Continue by long tailed boat to see the sights of the canal – observe locals going about their daily routine as you float upstream. Stop at the Artist’s House or Baan Silapin, the wooden house is more than 200 years old and the Pagoda standing in the backyard is 600 years old. If you are lucky, you may be able to see a traditional puppet performance. The ground floor of the house is a space for creating artworks and ornaments and visitors can purchase souvenirs at the shop or have a coffee by the river experiencing the life of the locals.
