Insight of Thonburi old town & Foodie tour by Tuk Tuk

We easily meet at Exit 2 of Saphan Taksin Station BTS and then take a local public boat along the Chao Praya River, “The River of Kings”. Stop at Tha Dindang area and start tasting local Thai breakfast, “Chinese Roll Noodle in Peppery Soup” or Thai people knows “Guay Jub”. Taking Tuk Tuk to explore Thonburi old town. Visit Wat Prayoon Wongsawat which was built during the reign of King Rama III. The Stupa, we call "Chedi", which the base wide is eighty meters is the highlights of this temple. It is the first stupa in Thailand which looks like a bell in Sri Lanka architecture style. Then stop at the museum in the temple, there is the Buddha Images and the relics.
Move on to Santa Cruz Church where is on the left of Chao Phraya River and get into Kudi Chin community. You will see how to make the original Portuguese cake, Kanom Farang Kudi Chin, and sample it. Get inside the museum of this community. They show you the relationship between Thailand and Portugal.
After that we visit Wat Rakang Kosittaram which named after renovation by finding the huge bell had fallen on the temple ground (was called Wat bangwa Yai before it was renovated in the reign of King Taksin during 1767-1782), so we shortly call this temple "Wat Rakang", Rakang means bell in Thai. Then get to Talad Wang Lang, Wang Lang Market, which is the biggest food market in this area. Enjoy Thai Food such as North-Eastern Thai Food (Esan food) and traditional Thai dessert.
Ferry to Bangkok downtown and take Tuk Tuk to the Golden Moutain Temple, Wat Saket or Phu Khao Thong, which is the last stop. This temple locates in Bangkok old town which Thai people revere. You can watch the high-definition panoramic Bangkok view at the top from here. End the tour by drop you off at the hotel by Tuk Tuk.
