Our English speaking guide will lift you up from Bangkok City area hotel lobby at 8 am and leave to Bang Pa-In Palace.

Stop At: Bang Pa In Palace, Ban Len, Bang Pa-in 13160 Thailand

Bang Pa-In Palace isn’t what you might expect from a Thai royal residence. Some of the European-influenced architecture wouldn’t look out of place at a stately home in France or Germany. And the sight of tourists driving golf buggies over a bridge lined with Renaissance-style statues may make you do a double-take. But the golf buggies provide a practical and modern solution that allows visitors to explore the expansive grounds in comfort. This may be a royal palace with rules of etiquette, but it retains a relaxed atmosphere and is a pleasure to visit. Home to an elegant collection of buildings with a mix of European and Thai architecture styles, Bang Pa-In Palace reflects the personality of the man who oversaw much of the construction, King Chulalongkorn.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Wat Mahathat, Ayutthaya Historical Park Pratuchai, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand

Wat Mahathat, “the temple of the Great Relic” was one of the most important temples in the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Located on the historical island the large monastery features a huge central prang, a very large principal viharn and ubosot and a great number of subsidiary chedis and viharns. The upper part of its once massive central prang has collapsed. Today only the base remains.
One of the temple’s most photographed objects is the head of a stone Buddha image entwined in the roots of a tree.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Lokayasutharam), Phratuchai Subdistrict, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand

Admire the enormous proportions of Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Lokayasutharam), a brick and cement statue. The reclining Buddha lays with its head on a lotus and legs stretched out, with the midsection protected by a yellow tarp. You only need to make a quick stop to see the temple, and can easily combine it with a tour of Bangkok’s other historical sites. Do not miss the souvenir shops across the road

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Pratuchai Subdistrict, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand

The distinctive pagodas of Wat Phra Si Sanphet are one of the most famous sights in Ayutthaya. Much like the iconic Buddha head in tree roots at nearby Wat Phra Mahathat, images of this historic temple adorn the front of many of the post-cards and travel books that are sold in Ayutthaya.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon, U-thong Road, Pranakorn Sri ayutthaya District, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand

One of the most important temples in Ayutthaya, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon has a long and illustrious history. And unlike many of the other ancient sites in Ayutthaya, this is still an active temple where monks reside. Thai people visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon to not only pay respects to Buddha, but also to pay homage to one of the most respected kings in Thai history, King Naresuan the Great.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Pratuchai Subdistrict, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand

Phra Mongkhon Bophit is one of the largest bronze Buddha images in Thailand. The image measures 9.55 metres at the widest point across the lap, and 12.45 metres high without the base. This Buddha image is seated in the position of subduing mara and situated on the west side of the old palace compound in the Vihara of Phra Mongkhon Bophit temple. The image is believed to have been constructed in the early Ayutthaya period between 1448 to 1602 A.D. and was originally situated at the east side of the old palace compound. Later, during the reign of King Song Tham it was moved to the west side and a Mondop was built to shelter it. During the reign of King Phra Chao Sua (1706 A.D.) the top part of the Mondop and the head of the image were damaged by the lightning. The Mondop was converted into a Vihara and the main restoration of Phra Mongkhon Bophit was completed during the reign of King BoromaKote (1742-1743 A.D.)

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Historic City of Ayutthaya, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand

The Historic City of Ayutthaya, founded in 1350, was the second capital of the Siamese Kingdom. It flourished from the 14th to the 18th centuries, during which time it grew to be one of the world’s largest and most cosmopolitan urban areas and a center of global diplomacy and commerce. Ayutthaya was strategically located on an island surrounded by three rivers connecting the city to the sea. This site was chosen because it was located above the tidal bore of the Gulf of Siam as it existed at that time, thus preventing attack of the city by the sea-going warships of other nations. The location also helped to protect the city from seasonal flooding.
At last, it's an ideal opportunity to return. Furthermore, drop off you at your Bangkok City Hotel around 5 pm.
