An active temple with a combination of ancient original structure mixed with the new renovation for both tourists and local worshippers to visit. You can see a big Reclining Buddha and gigantic standing high at 60 meters Stupa ,which you can see from a far.

We take you to the most famous Buddha’s head which is inextricably joined with a Bodhi Tree and walk around the complex.

Stop At: Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, Pratuchai Subdistrict, Ayutthaya 13000 Thailand

Before an another active temple where its measures 9.5 meters across the Buddha Image’s lap and a height of 12.5 meters , we take you on a walk through the local market. You will see how they make and try the specialty signature sweet of Roti-Saimai (Thai Fairy Floss Pancake), it is a strange combination of sweet pancake and sugar syrup strands or a kind of spring roll with sweet vermicelli like candy content.

After a riverside local restaurant for a Thai set menu , we take you to relax on our private long-tail boat (for an hour). Then we stop for Thai desserts and cold drinks to refresh at a trendy local favorite café (Please note that the café is closed on Mondays , but we will serve you something else).

We originally planned a tour of Ayutthaya but it was so hot out and one in our party walks with a cane, we called to cancel. When we called our tour guide suggested we just change our tour. We agreed and we are so glad we did. It was the most wonderful day of our visit. He came with a large air conditioned van, so relaxing. We went to the War cemetery, railway museum center, had a wonderful lunch and then visited the Bridge over River Kwai. Our guide was so wonderful friendly, patient, never rushed us, was helpful with our walking challenges and was very knowledgeable of the history in the area. Thank you so much, excellent representative of the kind and friendly people of Thailand.
