Stop At: Wat Ratchabophit, Atsadang Road, Bangkok Thailand

This historic temple was built by the King Rama V in 1869, according to the royal tradition that each monarch must have his own temple of his reign. Wat Ratchabophit features a harmony of traditional Thai architecture and Western-style interior, which is probably the only of its kind in Thailand. The temple is also home to the Royal Cemetery where the ashes of high-level members of Thai royal family, most closely related to King Rama V.

Sam Phraeng, also spelled as Sam Praeng, is the name of a neighbourhood that is historic area in Rattanakosin Island, San Chaopho Suea Sub-District, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. It is an area in the middle between Atsadang (run through Pak Khlong Talad to Sanam Luang) and Tanao Roads (run through Si Kak Sao Chingcha to Bang Lamphu).

The Giant Swing (or locally called Sao Chingcha) is situated in the old town area of Bangkok. The swing was built for a religious purpose (Hinduism). It's located in front of Wat Suthat Temple. The Giant Swing was formerly used in an old Brahmin ceremony. It now becomes one of the most popular Bangkok's landmarks.

Wat Suthat is one of Bangkok’s hidden gems. As it is less popular among tourists, stepping into Wat Suthat is like you are leaving the bustling world behind and now in a peaceful heaven. The main ordination hall sits at the center is where the sacred Phra Sri Sakayamunee Buddha image, relocated from Wat Mahathat in Sukhothai, is enshrined. It is one of the largest ordination halls in Thailand with 72.25-meter-high ceiling, completed with stunning wall paintings. Surrounding the ordination hall is Phra Wiharn Khot terrace where 156 beautiful Buddha statues are displayed.

Thoroughly completed in 1839 after a three-year construction during the reign of King Rama II whose aim was to tribute to his daughter, Wat Thepthidaram (means Temple of the Angel) is famous for its architecture influenced by Chinese arts, especially its ordination hall. Wat Thepthidaram was also the former residence of Sunthorn Phu, one of the greatest poets in Thai history, during his monkhood in 1840-1842, whose biography is shown at the museum located within the temple compound.

A temple in Bangkok which was built in 1846 during the reign of King Rama III. Wat Ratchanatdaram is best known for the Loha Prasat, a 36-meter-tall multi-tiered structure featuring 37 metal spires, signifying the 37 virtues toward enlightenment in Buddhist belief. It is regarded the world’s only brazen palace (a building of which its roof covered by broze tiles) in existence. Next to the temple is the King Rama II Memorial Plaza.

Stop At: Statue of King Rama III, 2 Ratchadamnoen Klang Rd, Wat Bowonniwet , 10200, Khet Phra Nakhon, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10200, Thailand

The monument to commemorate the King Rama III of the current Chakri Dynasty sets by the historic Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, in front of Wat Ratchanatdaram, the temple of his reign. King Rama III or King Nangklao was known as the great ruling king as well as great businessman who conducted profitable trades with international markets, especially China. The bronze statue is surrounded by beautiful gardens, the Royal Reception Pavilion and three minor pavilions.

Stop At: Mahakan Fort, Ratchadamnoen Klang, Bangkok Thailand

The restored ramparts of Mahakan Fort mark the entrance to the Royal City, or Ratanakosin Island as it's also called. A wall punctuated by 14 such forts and 16 gates once encircled the city, which was further protected by the canal. Mahakan Fort is one of only two such towers that remain from the original late 18th century walls.
