Chimborazo Volcano Private Day trip

If you are visiting Ecuador, you should know that the Chimborazo Volcano is a must on your route to visit our country. We are sure that you would like this private day tour for to know the highest volcano in Ecuador.

The tour starts at 7 am, we pick up you at your hotel in Baños and transfer you by private transport for 3 hours to the entrance to the Chimborazo wild life Reserve, then we will take a 30-minute road to reach the first refuge on the Chimborazo Volcano. On the way you can see a beautiful landscape the Andes of Ecuador and hopefully you can see the vicuñas.

When we arrive the first refuge at 4800 meters above sea level we start the hike by approximately 1 hour until we arrive the second refuge at 5000 . You will have time to try the famous coca tea that will help you recharge your batteries. if you want to go further up, on this private tour you have the option to do so, the guide will take you to the highest point allowed until 5080 meters above sea level.

Then we will return to the first refuge, and we will leave the reserve and we go to take a delicious local lunch. The tour does not end, and our guide will take you to see another attraction, which you can choose at the moment between Laguna de Colta, or the train station of Urbina the highest in Ecuador.

Finally we return to the city of Baños, we will arrive at approximately 6pm and we will drop off you at your Hotel, you can also choose drop off you at your hotel in Riobamba.
