Day 1: Barcelona

Stop At: Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, 08820 El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain
Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Barcelona

Day 2: Barcelona

Stop At: Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic), Mediterranean Seafront to Ronda de Sant Pere, Ciutat Vella, 08002 Barcelona Spain
The first part of the visit consists in a guided walking tour through the small and narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter, the oldest part of the city. During this early visit we will see Las Ramblas, de Cathedral Square, The Cathedral (free time to visit the Cathedral by yourself), the Old Jewish Quarter, among other interesting places.

Pass By: Passeig de Gracia, Barcelona Spain
Later we will take our bus to start with a panoramic tour around the rest of the city. We will pass through the elegant Passeig de Gràcia Street, where there are located two of the most important Gaudi’s buildings (Casa Batlló and Casa Milà “la Pedrera”), the Triumph Arc, the Olympic Village and the Olympic Port.

Pass By: Montjuic Castle, Carretera de Montjuic, 66, 08038 Barcelona Spain
This is an important place because was the main scenery of the Olympic Games in the 1992. We will see the Olympic stadium from the bus and later we will have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views of the city riding the aerial tramway (subject to the weather conditions).

Stop At: Poble Espanyol, Av Francesc Ferrer i Guardia, 13, 08038 Barcelona Spain
It consist in a synthesis of all the cultural variety in Spain. During the visit you will be given some free time to enjoy the different areas inspired in different Spanish regions, where you will find craft shops restaurants and bars.

Pass By: Placa d'Espanya, Barcelona Spain
At the end, back to the bus, we will leave Montjuic and come back to the city centre passing through España square, the twin Venetian towers, the MNAC and the Shopping centre Las Arenas, build in an old bullring.

Day 3: Barcelona - Madrid

Stop At: Madrid-Puerta de Atocha Train Station, Glorieta Carlos V, s/n, 28045 Madrid Spain
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Sants train station to depart by AVE, high speed train, at 9:00 am to Madrid. Enjoy the journey with the comfort and operating speed of this AVE train.

You will have a transfer to your hotel and after that, you will be able to enjoy your day at your own pace.

Day 4: Madrid - Córdoba - Seville

Stop At: Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, Calle del Cardenal Herrero 1, 14003 Cordoba Spain
Get into Andalucía until you reach Córdoba. There you will have a walking tour and you will be able to learn about its Mosque and other sites that will ease our mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter.

Day 5: Seville

Stop At: Catedral de Sevilla, Av. de la Constitución, s/n, 41004 Sevilla, Spain
You will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city of Seville, starting with the exterior of the Cathedral considered the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Barrio Santa Cruz, Seville Spain
A natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as a precisely where the myth of “Don Juan” developed together with Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 6: Seville - Granada

Stop At: The Alhambra, Calle Real de la Alhambra, s/n Palacio de Carlos V, 18009 Granada Spain
Visit the world famous Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sound and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 7: Granada - Toledo - Madrid

Stop At: Casco Historico de Toledo, Toledo Spain
Admire the impressive Imperial city of Toledo –World Heritage City- where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together. Resume of the Spanish art, history and spirituality the whole town is a National Monument. Short guided tour of this historical old town through its narrow streets.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Damasquinados Suarez, Paseo Circo Romano 8, 45004 Toledo Spain
Then proceed with a visit to a famous “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron) factory.
Duration: 30 minutes

A trip of a lifetime with my daughter. We visited so many places that will be etched in my heart for years. Wish we could have spent more time in some of the places but overall it was a great experience.

Poor administration/coordination by the 3rd party contractor, Julia Travel. On the first day, we were picked up from the airport, dropped off at our hotel, and that was it. No notification nor communication as to the scheduled of activities for that day nor subsequent days of the tour. Decided to call Julia Travel first thing in the morning the following day but have to wait for an hour since their office starts at 8AM. Finally got connected past 8AM and we're told to rush to the city center office to join the City Tour at 8:45AM and get our itinerary. Took a quick taxi ride and paid the driver 10 euros. Were told to join the City Tour and the itinerary will be handed over right after. When the tour ended, we could have spent the time sightseeing and shopping since we have the rest of the day free. Instead, we have to take a long walk to the office for the copy of the itinerary. Still it wasn't ready when we got there. Our record was somehow lost or misplaced. When finally found, we were given a copy of the tour contract and were told to pick up the itinerary from the tour guide in Madrid. No apologies given to us for the inconveniences nor compensation for the 10 euros spent on taxi fare.

The Barcelona section of the tour was challenging as no information was provided regarding locations for the tour/pick up times etc and I had to contact their office to find this information out. The Madrid and southern Spain section was incredible and well worth it. Our guide Margarita was brilliant.

This is a 4 days tour not 8 days we couldn't enjoy our trip to Barcelona they were not organized at all.
