By metro, you will arrive from Sagrada Familia to the main square of the city: Plaza Catalunya (Catalunya Square), which is considered the place where the old and modern meets. This is because it is the place where the old city and the Eixample meet and where all the main streets (such as La Rambla, Passeig de Gracia, and La Rambla de Catalunya) meet.

To reach another Gaudí's masterpiece, you will walk for a few minutes. You will arrive at Casa Milá. You will admire its amazing facade that Gaudí decided to build with rough stone, to give the impression of a rocky and wavy building. For this reason, the other name of Casa Milà is "Pedrera", which means "stone quarry”.
