Barcelona Half-Day Bike Tour

The tour starts just below Sagrada Familia at our bike rental shop with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a brief introduction into the history of Barcelona. Following this the tour continues to the Sagrada Familia where you learn about the facades and their symbolism.

You will then cycle through the Example district, pass by the Arc the Triumph and stop at the scenic Parque de la Ciudadella and its fountain, the Castell the los tres dragones and the Parlament of Barcelona. Learn about the details of the fountain as well as getting to know the important history of the park and the fortress.

Just a few minutes bike ride away you can enjoy the Centre Cultural de la Memoria where you can enter the hall and observe how people lived in the 17th century.

Continue biking to Plaça Sant Jaume where your guide tells you about the Palau de la Generalidad and the town hall.

Just a stone´s throw away discover the relics of the ancient Roman Temple of Augustus and Plaça del Rei.

Before passing the Rambla learn about Catalan culture by observing the monument of the Castellers (Human Tower).

Your tour guide then takes you to the Raval district with its Antic Hospital Sant Pau and the MACBA – Museum of Contemporary Art.

Step back in time by entering Casa Amatller, as well as learning about the neo-Gothic facade.

Located right next to Casa Amatller is Casa Batlló. From the outside of Casa Batlló you learn about Gaudis masterpiece, Catalan modernism and the legend of Saint George.

Just a short bike ride away experience another modernistic building made by Gaudi - Casa Milà. Your tour guide explains the history and the facade of the monument.

Finally, your tour will end back at our bike rental shop.
