About this activity
Start your night the way most locals do in Barcelona—with a classic aperitif! You’ll enjoy sweet vermouth straight from the tap, and you’ll learn why this delicious fortified wine is making a comeback! You’ll also try two quintessential Barcelona tapas—Iberian ham croquettes and spicy patatas bravas!

Next up, you’ll head to one of Barcelona’s trendiest wine bars. The owners specialize in Catalan wines and boast a fantastic wine list. This is where you’ll dive into the world of sparkling Spanish wine—cava—which is mostly produced in Catalonia! You’ll taste two very different cavas before moving on to something Spain is a little less known for—white and rosé! These refreshing wines will be paired with gourmet, open-faced toasts.

The last stop of the night is at a modern bodega, style tapas bar. Serving local and organic farm-to-table style food, the owner even makes his own wine! You’ll taste a couple of Catalonia's fabulous reds, paired alongside some of the most delicious dishes in town, such as melt-in-your-mouth Iberian pork, or tender braised beef.

We did the tour with Victoria. She was informative, fun and made the experience wonderful. The tapas were delicious and the wine pairing excellent. We loved the starting point at Bodega La Puntual so much that we went back for dinner in a couple of days.

This tour was by far my fiance's and my favorite tour in Barcelona. Our guide was very knowledgable and obviously loves what he does. We got to sample amazing wines and foods all while learning about the history of the city and wine. Don't worry if you're not a big drinker like me- he didn't judge when I had to pour out the remainder of my glass to keep going. And it didn't matter if you were a wine expert yourself. We were all novice wine drinkers. We were a very small group as there was one other couple with us, so it was very intimate. I would recommend this tour in a heartbeat.

Us three are not wine drinkers we do love food, but we wanted to learn, so we decided to give it a go and booked the tour for the evening of July 11. Ours was a small group of seven eight including Jaome, our guide, and Jaome took good care of us non-drinkers, helping us understand the local wine culture and traditions, history, etc with regular samplings of tapas and drink our fellow tour participants were great and helpful too. At the end of the tour we emerged wiser, with some of us an appreciation for wines and a taste for vermouth!. An evening well-spent!

Finn is charming! We really enjoyed our wine tasting and tapas tour with Finn. He will answer any questions about Barcelona or wine. It was great to do this tour early in our stay as we went to lunch the next day at a total local joint Finn had recommended near the Sagrads Familia. Life saver! On the tour the food was plentiful as was the wine. We went to two restaurants and one bodega that was more of a neighborhood wine and cheese store where they sell wine by the jug and also have lovely bottled wine. It was a fun group of four couples, with a combination of wine lovers and total novices in wine. Finn was masterful at catering to all levels - we highly recommend him and this tour.

This tour was far better than expected. Our guide, Fin, knows his stuff and is enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge about wines, Barcelona and places to eat and enjoy some great wines. The places he selected for us to visit were in close proximity and offered a good variety and idea of what Barcelona has to offer. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. Only one caution: if you think you want to do it book early as it frequently sells out. Groups are limited to 10 people.
