Discover Barcelona's art scene: Studio visit Martin del Litto

Martin del Litto shares a studio space in the up and coming creative district in the industrial suburb of l’Hospitalet. He will introduce you to his unique creative process allowing you to experience Barcelona’s vibrant art scene first hand. The studio is usually not open to the public, so you will get exclusive access to a private space in Barcelona and connect with an interesting local person.

About Martin del Litto's Art:
Color and it’s relation to the physics of matter are the main concerns of Martin’s work. The Argentinian artist might employ gravity or tension in order to achieve surprising painterly effects or contrarywise draw upon color and light to create the illusion of movement and plasticity. But it is his particular gift for color that makes his compositions really stand out.

The artist will give you a brief resume of her CV, then sit down with you to comment some of his art work one by one: His technique, his inspiration, his work process. You will comment 4-10 of her works and of course you are welcome to ask questions regarding the pieces, but there will aslo be time for question and answers at the end of the visit.

Martin is originally from Argentina but lives and works in Barcelona for years. He can give you a glimpse into the life of a contemporary artist in city of Gaudí and Picasso. Artists are often the collective that picks up the pulse of the time first and can give you insight about socio-cultural aspects of the place you are visiting. Take advantage of that and get to know a different face of the city.
