Half day private tour to Montserrat from Barcelona

The mountain of Montserrat is doubtless the most important spiritual center of Catalonia. It’s catholic sanctuary acommodates the sculpture of the Virgin of Montserrat, patron saint of Catalonia. There’s also a thousand-year-old monastery inhabited by benedictine monks. We’ll travel from Barcelona to Montserrat by train and rack-railway. We’ll visit the Sanctuary and the Renaissance Basilica of Montserrat which keeps the statue of the Mother of God of Montserrat (XIIth century). It’ll be possible to enjoy the beautiful landscape from a viewpoint and to know and taste the artisan products brought to Montserrat by local farmers.
